Free The Children empowers children in North America to take action to help the lives of needy children and thats where Club Penguin is a big part of free the children.

Club Penguin became involved with Free the Children, so they could help children around the world. When you subscribe to Club Penguin, you are also helping building new schools, helping orphans and preserving  the  environment. This club lets your children feel like they are helping with making other children healthier and happy. Club Penguin is a virtual world where children can play games, learn to read, write, and best of all use their imaginations. Club Penguin and Free the Children work hand in hand and this has worked well for both organizations. Club Penguin feels that, joining with Free the Children they have been able to reach more children. When young children support Club Penguin they are always supporting the way we improve the lives of children and families around the world. Kids are  helping to make this planet a better place and helping kids who don’t have the same opportunities as they do!

Free the Children and Club Penguin both want to help make a difference in the world,

Blog Assignment 2; Who's That Girl?

Thu, July 08, 2010 - 5:31PM 0 Comments

If I was a star with my own TV show, I would love to have my own talk show. With a cozy studio so I can have guests in and do interviews with them. I would also be on the road with a new special guest every time to go to where ever the sick kids with no families are and help their problem as much as we could! My show would be called To Find Your Family and our logo is "You are Loved".  It would be about helping sick children anywhere in the world and to find them a family. There would be different places to travel to, to help any children, rather its building houses, feeding them or just being there for them when they have no one else. When it would be in my studio we would discuss the different things people from all over would like to see happen. To help these kids there would be phone calls and people in the audience voting their opinions. On our trips to see and help these kids we would video the whole thing from start to finish and publish it on our web page so some family will take in these children and help them in any way needed.

The things some people have to face today I think is plays a huge part in someone’s life just to have a family, there a lot of help for anyone who just wants to be loved by someone for the first time it really means a lot no matter what the age.

For my show i will travel all around the world just to show some families that not every child, boy, girl women, or male has the love and caring they get everyday

My sponsors would be Frank ideas and execution(http://www.justbefrank.com/) and Faze media(http://www.fazeteen.com)

Frank ideas and execution is a great way to make my own website, online questionnaires, and video clips of previous shows and trips. The website would include all the information about how to get a needy child into your family how to ask questions all about it if any and how to become a special guest on one of our many trips taken!       But also Faze media would also be a huge help by showing how many kids there is in need for familes and help to get them some love or help because they ae sick it will promote To Find Your Family, studio and trips !

Blog Assignment # 1; Welcome To Barrington!

Tue, June 22, 2010 - 4:31AM 0 Comments

Welcome to the Lobster Capital of Canada! The Municipality of Barrington was incorporated in 1879 and is located on the South Western tip of Nova Scotia. Lobster is found almost everywhere along the coast and is caught in " lobster traps " that are lowered to the ocean's botton. The lobster turns red only after it is boiled, and they are delicious!!

A Day Trip Guide Of Shelburne County

As you tour along the coastal Lighthouse Route you can see in the distance

Seal Island, Mud Island group, and John's Island. Next, you will pass through the small

fishing community of Woods Harbour. Stop in the Samuel Wood Museum Complex,

and see the lobstering and ground-fishing displays. If you keep going you will come to

Shag Harbour, Where you can see the Chapel Hill Museum and Observation tower. View

the site of the 1967 UFO crash, and at night  the lights of five lighthouses can be seen.

As you enter Barrington Passage you will turn on to the Causeway, where you will make your way to Cape Sable Island, the home of the famous Cape Island boat.  When you come into Centerville visit the Archelaus Smith Museum . Clark's Harbour is an unspoiled, old Nova Scotian fishing town. Just down the road is The Hawk, the most famous area on the Island. When the tide is low the " Drowned forest " can be seen. It is also an " important bird area " recognized world wide. Coming back off the Causeway you enter back into Barrington Passage, one of the earliest English Settlements and birth place of Phil Scott World Log Rolling Champion!  The Old Meeting House, in Barrington was built in 1765 and was used for public meeting's and a place of worship. The Barrington Woolen Mill was built in 1884, and is the home of the Nova Scotian Tartan.

"Archelaus Smith Museum"                                "Phil Scott"

   "Old Meeting House"                                            "Woolen Mill"

Go on to Clyde River and you will find a sprawling 18 hole golf course. Next is Port Saxon there is a marine extraction plant where a special glue, used in color television screens, is made from fish skins. As you continue along from Port Clyde, to the fishing communities of Ingomar, Roseway, and Gunning Cove you will turn to the right into the community of Birchtown. This is where you will find the Black Loyalist Heritage Society Museum. Coming to the end of our day, we enter into Shelburne. There are four museums you will want to see, Shelburne County Museum, The Ross-Thomson House and Store, William Dory Shop, and The Muir-Cox Shipyard Interpretive Centre. Hope you enjoyed the trip. Hope to see you soon.                  .
